Founded in 2015, Society Staples Pte. Ltd. (Society Staples) is a social enterprise that envisions an inclusive future where every Persons with Disabilities can maximize his/her potential and be embraced as an integral member of society. With that in mind, we leverage on sustainable and impactful initiatives to enable and empower the participants of our programs and workshops to impact their communities, creating real and lasting positive change for the marginalized individuals and communities while simultaneously take away relevant skills for the betterment of their workplaces or institutions. Since our incorporation, Society Staples has worked with clients across various sectors including DBS Bank, Government Investment Corporation, MOH Holdings, Ministry of Home Affairs, Singapore International Foundation, Peking University, and Singapore Management University. Society Staples has been the proud recipient of several awards in recognition of our efforts, with the President’s Challenge Social Enterprise Start-Up of the Year Award 2015 and the ASEAN-China Outstanding Young Startup Entrepreneur Award 2015 being the most notable. Society Staples has also been featured in several media outlets such as the Straits Times and Channel NewsAsia on multiple occasions.
