The School offers a complete professional pet stylist training package. Graduates are nurtured to be independent, responsible and skillful groomers. The Western approach of teaching combines study based subjects and practical hands-on grooming skills with emphasis placed on breed standard styling and encouraging individual expression and creativity. Knowledge on aspects such as breed types, coat textures, skin disorders, animal well-being and safety measures are included.
Company founder and Master Groomer, Alex Ang ICMG has travelled the globe developing and refining his skills. All instructors and lecturers at Fur & Away are certified in their area of expertise. We strive towards presenting an all round excellent training program coupled with international certification. Our Advanced and Overseas Enrichment focuses on Professional Stylists who wish to elevate their skills to a competitive level. Stylists can enroll in courses in the USA, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia. Courses are arranged exclusively by the School and focus on breed standards. Students will be trained for contest grooming and overseas examination.
