Dr Harold Ma is the medical director at Freia and he puts patient care and patient well-being as a key priority in his work. Dr Ma graduated from the prestigious National University of Singapore in 1999. He went on to complete his training in various surgical disciplines before obtaining a Diploma in dermatology from the renowned Cardiff University, Wales, UK. He pursued his love for making people beautiful by establishing Freia Medical Aesthetics in 2006. He has had the special opportunity and honour to train under great doctors all around the world, including Dr Akihira Minami from Japan (the creator of the unique double eyelid suture technique), Dr Joseph Galvez from the Philippines (Facial plastic surgeon and chief trainer for Botox in Asia), Dr Matt Leavitt from USA, Prof Jung Dong Hak from Korea and Prof Niwat Polnikorn (principal trainer for Medlite lasers) from Thailand, to name a few.

Dr Ma is a very patient and attentive listener and is a firm believer that understanding the patient’s needs is the key factor in creating the best outcome. He takes pride in being meticulous in applying his skills to bring out the best for patients. He has a no-compromise approach to his work and will take as much time and effort as needed to ensure his patients get the best results that can be achieved.
