Chia KH Vein Vascular & General Surgery Centre

Dr Chia Kok Hoong is a Senior Consultant in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. He is also an accredited Renal Transplant Surgeon.

Dr Chia graduated from National University of Singapore in 1986. He started in General Surgery training in 1989 and was accredited as a specialist in General Surgery in 1998.

He further sub specialised in Vascular Surgery at the Singapore General Hospital.

He was awarded MOH HMPP fellowship in Vascular Surgery in 1999-2000 at Monash University Melbourne Australia where he was trained in endovascular surgery and renal transplantation.

He spent 9 years in Singapore General Hospital and in 2003 he was asked to head the Vascular Surgery Unit at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

He was appointed Associated Professor at the Yong Loo Lin Medical School at National University of Singapore in 2006. He became Deputy Head Department of General Surgery Tan Tock Seng Hospital in 2006 as well.

He resigned in June 2009 to set up private practice. His practice is at CHIA KH Vein Vascular & General Surgery Centre, located at #05-06 Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre.
